Returns & Refunds

At Raani, we want you to love every purchase. This policy outlines when you can return an item, how to do it, and what to expect. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) always apply and are not limited by this policy.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair if a product has a major failure, including if it:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is significantly different from its description or photos on our website
- Does not do what we said it would
- Is unsafe
These rights cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified. If your item qualifies under ACL, we will cover return postage costs.
2. What We Accept Returns For
We accept returns in the following circumstances:
✓ Eligible for return
- Item arrived damaged or defective
- Item is materially different from the product description or images
- You received the wrong item
- Item has a manufacturing fault
✗ Not eligible for return
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size selected at time of purchase — please use our size guide
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered or damaged after delivery
- Items returned without original tags attached
- Items returned outside the 14-day window
- Sale or discounted items (unless faulty)
3. Return Window
Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your order. We are unable to accept returns requested after this period, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
4. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In their original condition with all tags still attached
- Free from perfume, deodorant, makeup or any other marks
- Returned in their original packaging where possible
Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your cost.
5. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at info@raani.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number, the item name, and the reason for return
- Attach clear photos of the item, especially if it is damaged or faulty
- Wait for our team to review and approve your return request — we aim to respond within 2 business days
- Once approved, ship the item back to the address we provide
Please do not send items back before receiving approval — unapproved returns cannot be processed.
6. Return Postage
- If the return is due to our error (wrong item, faulty, damaged) — we cover return postage
- For all other approved returns — return postage is at your expense
- We recommend using a tracked postage service — we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit
7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method
- Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider
- Original delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- AfterPay and PayPal refunds are subject to those providers' processing times
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item or size, please return your eligible item for a refund and place a new order.
9. Damaged or Lost in Transit
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please contact us immediately at info@raani.com.au with your order number and photos of the damaged packaging or item. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
